DFRNT RECORDS is a fully independent label and management house based out of Los Angeles. Established in 2022 by Patrick "Play Pat" Chafin, DFRNT Records is home to a number of artists, covering a wide array of genres.
DFRNT Records is a record label that is dedicated to providing a platform for undiscovered talent and groundbreaking music. We seek to bring fresh and innovative music to the world, and we are passionate about working with emerging artists.
We are committed to discovering and nurturing new talent, and we are always on the lookout for innovative and exciting artists and tracks. We believe that music has the power to move and inspire, and we strive to promote artists who have something unique and special to offer.
Our sole purpose is to build and develop an artists brand to the point where it takes them to the next step in their career. Whether that be a Full Record Deal, Distro Deal, Pub Deal, or Joint Venture, Patrick & His team have carried success in landing multiple Contracts & Signings with a few of the industry's leading Brands and Labels. From the creative process, Artist Development, to post-promotion and Distribution, Publishing and marketing, we maintain a high level of accountability for maintaining professionalism with every step in the music industry. Having previous success with getting artists signed to distribution and/or publishing deals with bigger labels, our focus is to specialize on each artist's goals and properly executing the necessary steps required to accomplish them.

As an Independent Label and Management House, We Prioritize development to their sound and craft, and provide them with the tools and resources they need to make their music heard. We also provide marketing and promotion services to ensure that our artists’ music reaches the widest possible audience. we approach music from the ground up- the music must come first. More than ever, promotion and marketing can only work as well as the music itself. From writing and recording to mixing and mastering, we maintain the highest standard of sound quality in our products.
Partnering with our home studio in Koreatown, California DFRNT Records and Studios houses many of todays biggest artists, Contributing to our belief in good music. This way, when it’s received by fans, the music speaks for itself, and the socials and editorials come next. We are involved in the production process from start to finish, and because of this, we ensure the work is refined in order to calculate the most effective rollout possible.
